Management Information System for AGOSD

Alexandria General Organization for Sanitary Drainage (AGOSD) was established as an independent utility in 1979 to provide Wastewater services to an estimated 2.4 million residents of Alexandria, Egypt.
AGOSD services their customer through a collection of Sewage networks, Pump stations and two Wastewater treatment plants located on the East and West side of the city. ICS and AGOSD developed a Master Plan addressing various computerization needs to upgrade its existing system capabilities through a USAID funded project for Institutional Support and Policy Reform.

Computerization and Networking of the University of Mali
Contract Number: 688-C-00-01-00084-00 - Mali
The general objective of this contract was to create a connection of the University of Mali to the Internet to provide teachers, researchers and students of the University of Mali with on-site Internet access, via wireless links to the national Internet gateway operated by the Société des Télécommunications du Mali (SOTELMA), through networked computers in each of the University's institutions, thereby linking the University to the Global Information Infrastructure.

Access to Micro Finance and Improved Implementation of Policy Reform (AMIR)
Contract Number: 278-C-00-98-00029-00 - Jordan
AMIR project main objective was to streamline the Jordan's capital markets; the Amman Stock Exchange, the Jordan Securities Commission, and the Securities Depository Center. A $58-million, funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development. ICS was one of the main subcontractors to Chemonics on this project; this project was based on using Information and Communications Technology (ICT) including hardware, software, and back-office automation for Jordan's institutions.

Armenia Social Transition Project
Contract Number: TAX REFORM INITIATIVE - Armenia
The purpose of the social transition program is, in the short term, to meet the immediate social and health care needs of the most vulnerable, while establishing the basis in the longer term for sustainable and effective social insurance care systems. USAID has defined social insurance systems to include unemployment, disability, and health and pension systems. As a subcontractor to American Manufacturers Export Group (AMEG), was responsible for commodity procurement and movement of household effects.

Healthy Mother/ Healthy Child
Contract Number: 263 -0242 - Egypt 2001
The purpose of this project is to improve the health status of children through promoting family-friendly and accessible services and providing technical assistance at the national, state and community levels. ICS assisted TCA/JSI in evaluating and implementing information technology to support their work in delivering and managing care. this was through developing and implementing the best technology solutions based on their goals and resources.

AL-BALQA' APPLIED UNVERSITY- UPGRADING AND DEVELOPING COMMUNITY COLLEGES
Contract Number: JO-P1 - Jordan
The main objective of this project was to establish state-of-the-art laboratories for the Al Balqa' Applied University in Jordan. Al-Balqa' Applied University is a governmental university established by a Royal Decree. The university serves the Jordanian community in particular and the Arab community in general by providing national standards and learning programs at the applied university and college levels in vocational, technical and applied academic fields to meet the nation's economic needs. ICS was responsible for the design, procurement, installation, commissioning and training for Central Production Laboratories Contract, Electrical and Electronic Laboratory and Pneumatics, Hydraulics and Instrumentations.

ICS was main supcontractor to CH2M HILL International Services; ICS was responsible for the procuremnt, installation and cofiguraion of Information Technology Equipment for three different cities in Ukraine.

Morocco Family Planning / Maternal Child Health Project

ICS was main subcontractor to John Snow, Inc. ICS was responsible for the procurement, installation and configuration of Information Technology Equipment for different locations in Morocco.

The Development of Technical Colleges for the Palestinian Authority
Contract Number: PAL/ILO/T/97/001-5 - Palestine
This project was financed by the Italian Government, the purpose of this project is provide technical assistance to the main three Technical colleges in the West Bank colleges which are Al Aroub College, Tulkarem College and Ramallah College, these colleges were established long time ago and so there was an urgent need to upgrade their systems and provide them with most recent technologies. ICS job was providing the information technology equipment, tools and technical assistance, this was accomplished through three sub contracts.
